SCREENCRAFT EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
What is ScreenCraft
The WA Made Film Festival’s ScreenCraft sessions will return in 2026, running throughout the festival from Friday, 20 February to Sunday, 1 March. ScreenCraft is the festival’s dedicated industry program, designed to inspire, educate, and connect WA filmmakers and screen creatives
at all stages of their careers.
Across the ten days, festival audiences can take part in an exciting lineup of events, including panel discussions, filmmaker masterclasses, and practical workshops that shine a light on the many crafts that go into screen storytelling. Each session is presented by some of Western Australia’s most respected industry professionals, giving attendees the chance to learn directly from the people shaping the local and national screen landscape.
From discussions on producing and directing, to insights into writing, cinematography, and distribution, ScreenCraft is all about sharing knowledge and building opportunities. The sessions are designed to be accessible, engaging, and valuable whether you’re an emerging filmmaker taking your first steps, or an established creative looking to sharpen your skills and make new connections.
By running alongside the festival’s packed film program, ScreenCraft ensures that WA Made isn’t just a celebration of films, but also a hub for professional growth, collaboration, and industry development.
